Iran's Chief of Internal Medicine reports a rise of 20 to 30 percent in the number of cancer cases in the country, adding: “By next year, we will have 400,000 cancer patients in the country.”

The Mehr News Agency reports that Iraj Khosronia named breast cancer in women and skin cancer in men as the most frequent forms of the disease afflicting people in Iran.

Khosronia also said that electronic waves have an undeniable negative effect on the human body. Iranian authorities use jamming waves to prevent people from receiving various satellite programs.
